Abstract
The flipped classroom is a student-centered education or teaching model. Through the pre-class reading preparation and in the classroom the teacher use cases interactive discussion to guide the group students' knowledge application and problem-solving, the students become qualified critical thinking, learning input, and learners of deep learning. To understand the implementation and evaluation of a flipped classroom for Obstetrics and Gynecology medical students in clerkship. In this project, 150 students of the fifth-grade medical students who were internship in the obstetrics and gynaecology department of the case hospital were evaluated for the practice and teaching effectiveness of the obstetrics and gynecology flip classroom teaching model. It also promotes the teaching practice of the obstetrics and gynaecology in the case hospital, and demonstrates the effectiveness through empirical research, as well as the improvement of the obstetrics and gynecology textbooks and the retraining of teachers for the key factors affecting the effectiveness.
