Abstract

This project aims to propose a novel service model to help the fitness management and health promotion of the elderly. Based on this model, a portable fitness management App will be developed, which plan to integrate with current measurement equipment, such as iFit, ECG, and EEG for increasing aging problems and lacking of emphasis on mind fitness. In order to reduce the waste of medical sources and alleviate social burdens, an integrated platform is proposed to take care both of physical and psychological fitness. It expects to prompt users to achieve health maintenance and improvement. In addition, this project would apply the modified waterfall model to construct Personas to collect and analyse workability of the integrated fitness management App. Moreover, a questionnaire that cooperates with paper prototyping method is conducted to understand the satisfaction degree of the designed user interface. Finally, the designed system would be validated by technology acceptance model for further discussion of user's perceived usefulness and ease-of-use.
