Abstract
腦神經的自我修復能力非常有限, 因此我們希望用基礎神經科學的技術，以小鼠為動物模式來嘗試是否能以基因治療的方式來修復腦傷。在一次電生理的實驗中，我們意外地觀察到Plekha2這基因可能與腦部的修復有關，為了驗證這假設我們開始了Plekha2與腦傷的研究。經過了幾年的努力，我們建立了小鼠的腦傷模式與動物行為的評估，由我們的實驗結果顯示，Plekha2基因治療後，腦創傷的小鼠在動物行為上有較好的復原結果。然而，我們需要更多的實驗與時間來闡明其分子生物上的機制，甚至希望設計實驗將植入的Plekha2基因於治療後關閉其表現，回復到正常值。這實驗計畫的數據將為腦創傷的修復提供一個基因治療治療契機與希望。
