Abstract

本計畫主要研究塑膠模具用鋼,麻田散鐵系 不�鋼(Martensitic stainless steel)SUS440經放電線加 工機(Electro-dischargewire machine; EDWM)切割後其表 面之特性及結構.SUS440不�鋼施以硬化調質熱 處理後,經不同放電加工條件(如放電電位-電流、線電極材質、線電極張力、粗切、細切及絕 緣液等),所得之加工表面會因使用之加工條件( Machining conditions)而有變化.又經放電加工之表 面層(約10.mu.m深)結構,乃因加工時放電之急速 加熱及絕緣液之快速冷卻的製程影響,而具有 異於內部組織之表面變質層.在高精度模具加 工要求下,此加工表面特性與結構,則必須予以 研究了解.本計畫即以一序列不同放電切割加 工條件分析研究加工表面;即以表面精度儀、 掃描式電子顯微鏡(Scanning electron microscopy; SEM) 及微硬度機予以定性及定量之記錄分析,再深 入以穿透式電子顯微鏡(Transmissionelectron microscopy; TEM)及能譜分析儀(Electron energy dispersivespectrum; EDX)研究分析其組織結構,以期 提供放電線切割在高精度模具製造上之技術資 料.
