Abstract

近幾十年來許多國家包括台灣在內的兒童過敏疾病盛行率快速增加,原因難以單一歸責於基因體變異,比較合理的原因推測可能來自於易感個體在產前與生命早期的環境暴露改變。本計畫經由我們長期建立的世代研究資源以及富有經驗與默契的跨領域團隊,有極佳機會釐清產前與生命早期環境暴露與端粒長度對兒童過敏疾病的臨床影響與致病機轉,冀望能找出產前或生命早期與兒童過敏疾病相關的關鍵環境暴露因子,並了解其致病之生理機轉,相關成果將會對兒童過敏病的早期防治有具體貢獻。
