Abstract

睡眠呼吸中止症是常見的嚴重疾病。患者經常有白天嗜睡、認知功能障礙、生活品質降低及高血壓、心血管死亡率、中風和心臟病的發生率增加,唯有有效的治療才能防範未然。目前治療阻塞性睡眠呼吸中止症(OSA)的方式眾多,因為陽壓呼吸器(CPAP)與上下顎前移手術(MMA)的療效和依從性差異可能會影響健康結果的改善,因此本計畫主要為了瞭解並比較CPAP與MMA治療罹患中重度OSA患者的長期縱向預後的健康結果,並嘗試找出影響CPAP或MMA治療結果的預測因子,是邁向精準(precision)及個人化(personalized)OSA治療的重要一步。
