Project Details

Abstract

This project considered the physiology, psychology, and social interaction of community users to design and implement many community-based health improvement and care service modules with user-friendliness interface. Moreover, we applied cloud computing technologies to establish a SaaS (Software as a Service) community-based health improvement and care platform. Since personal heath information are highly related to user's privacy, this project considered security threats to design and implement many security modules with security and privacy protection. These modules include cryptographic mechanisms for protecting user's privacy, secure privilege management modules, secure information exchange protocols, and secure medical information transmission protocols. All modules, systems, and protocols are all integrated into the SaaS comunity-based health improvement and care platform. Finally, we elaborated on the research about user acceptance models and health behaviors to propose integrated model for understanding the behaviors of community users. We will deploy our SaaS comunity-based health improvement and care platform into two real communities in Taipei and a health care center and then use our user acceptance model to analyze the user acceptance factors. The found results will contribute to the research or industry about community-based health improvement and care.
