1. 社會需求核心概念/技術：強化車聯網之安全性、隱私性、資安保護之適法性以及數位證據保全等，以期能完善車聯網之事前預防、事中處理、事後調查之數位證據保全，強化車聯網的社會安全與資訊科技法律，可作為政府政策制定之參考。
2. 跨領域整合服務技術與模式，將有助於車聯網之創新應用服務、安全性與數位鑑識之發展
3. 基於資訊科技法律的數位證據力與數位鑑識技術，建構車聯網的安全可信任基礎，確保資訊安全與人身安全，可促進車聯網應用的發展
4. 強化車聯網或智慧車載資通訊之資訊安全與數位鑑識防護
