Abstract

Sports vision is one of the factors that affect the sport’s performance. A comprehensive survey of current state of arts about the correlation between athletes and the specific functional evaluation items, the dynamic visual acuity, peripheral awareness, visual reaction time and eye hand coordination of visual response among the sports vision are relatively important, it lead several country start to focus on ability of sports vision seriously, in the meanwhile those country deep into the correlated study. The vision reaction time is the most important issue in athletes training programmes, it will influence the result of the within every minute and second competitive sports, therefore, the athletes who have perfect vision reaction will win the game, the vision reaction also a factor that affect the performance on sport’s arena. The purpose of this study is to develop the 「computer-based visual reaction time response measuring system」, this system integrated the software, hardware for specific functional scheme design, the latest graphic data acquisition user interface were construct, after the software were well designed and hardware components were implemented, both software and hardware components were integrated into the system. Besides the user administration interface, the user can set the measuring or training visual reaction time response and eye hand coordination of visual response parameter via the interface freely. In the meanwhile, through the totally computerize system, multiple reaction time training programme can be set, it save labor and times. In addition, this system of this research will promote to school in different stage, different items in training and measuring the visual reaction time response will also be promoted in practical way.
