Abstract
隨著5G時代到來,為了傳遞量大且繁雜的各式資訊,可將高傳輸性能的光纖通訊應用在前端網路並結合可見光通訊技術以實現「無時無刻、連所未連」的願景。為了縮減元件體積並實現雙向光傳輸,本計畫擬研製可收發光之晶片層級氮化銦鎵發光二極體陣列與似光電二極體之發光二極體陣列。實驗上,這些元件是磊晶成長在氧化鋁基板上並以相同的主動層來進行發光或光電轉換,有別於異質整合技術,這些積體化氮化物光收發器具有製程簡易之優點。在合作廠商協助下,並採取適當策略來緩和光(電)串擾,以這些光收發器構建而成的室內雙向光通訊系統其資料傳輸率將可達300 Mbps以上,研究成果預期可進一步拓展氮化物發光二極體的應用領域或經濟規模。
