Abstract
慢性腎臟疾病是一個全球性的健康問題，也是高齡化社會公共衛生支出的巨大負擔與隱憂。在台灣因腎臟衰竭須接受洗腎的人口居高不下，所耗費的醫療資源更佔健保支出之冠。此研究計畫，在更全面了解慢性腎臟疾病，尤其其中最重要導致腎衰竭的因素“腎臟纖維化”的過程與機制。我們已建立獨有，成熟且穩定的動物模式，搭配目前最先進，微觀無偏私的單細胞定序，加上已建立的機制基礎，相信我們具備充足的能力完成此計畫。計畫的研究成果，除了為學術醫療知識奠定更多基礎，更宏觀的視野，期待藥物的篩選更能夠為台灣社會經濟有長遠的建樹。
