Abstract
頭頸癌是台灣十大癌症之一，而因頭頸癌好發在中年男性，對家庭及社會無形中造成相當大的影響。惡性頭頸癌常因轉移或復發造成不可逆的後果，而細胞之高侵襲性與放射抗性即為此不可逆之主因。本研究中，本計畫擬將探討，ITGA6在檳榔誘發頭頸癌機制中，可能兼具調控細胞侵襲及放射抗性之關鍵分子機制。這些研究成果，可進一步做為日後應用於預測放療效益、預後或分子治療之學理基礎，預期對本土癌症醫學將有學術及社會之貢獻。
