確認不同維生素 D血清濃度對造骨細胞生長與活性的影響,並瞭解其可能機轉;除成就建立亞洲人群的最佳維生素D濃度提供了可能性,可提供臨床醫療與公共健康政策擬定之參酌;參與此項研究者可瞭解組織和細胞之培養和細胞生長與活性機轉之研究,並學習分子生物學之應用,對培養臨床醫師及大學學生從事基礎研究有相當助益。
