Abstract
It’s an important topic to develop an outcome-oriented transition service
program. The purpose of this research is to find the content of transition outcomes,
and to develop the outcome-oriented transition services for the student with
disabilities transiting from high schools to colleges. It will be conducted through 3
years. The first year is to interview 48 students with disabilities, through individuals
and focus groups, and then to investigate a Delphi team. The second year is to
investigate about 1576 students during the transition process with the instrument
developed on the base of the first year research results. And then, the third year is to
interview 24 transition services providers, and then to investigate another Delphi team.
Findings will indicate the implications for further studies and practices on transition
services for the students with disabilities.
