Abstract

SCN時鐘神經元的電位發射頻率、鈣離子濃度,鈉鈣交換子活性、葡萄糖吸收、cytochrome oxidase,以及鈉鉀幫浦活性等都有日高夜低的節律。我們認為鈉鉀幫浦可能扮演整合這些節律的角色。尤其是SCN時鐘神經元表現α2而非α3,而且α2連同α1都有節律。因此了解鈉鉀幫浦α2如何影響細胞活性、鈉、鈣離子、glutamate誘發鈣訊號,以及是否受到葡萄糖濃度的影響,將有助說明鈉鉀幫浦在SCN時鐘的功能角色。執行本計畫將能協助深入了解鈉鉀幫浦在SCN時鐘的功能角色,甚至回答SCN時鐘神經元為何表現α2而非α3的原因。
