Abstract
GaN功率半導體元件正成為下一代高性能電動車的關鍵元素，在於操作頻率可以快可實現車體輕量化且更佳的散熱管理，GaN FET目前的困難點在於無法達到更高的崩潰電壓，我們提出三年計畫來深耕台灣新式電力電子半導體元件基礎工業，或許本技術困難點非常具有挑戰性，但是我們仍然應該在此關鍵技術發展上進行布局以期待車用產業在大量需求時可以隨時切入，2030年前電動車（EV）將成為主流，而車用化合物半導體對台灣十分重要，台灣也更需要在GaN領域加大投入力道。
