Abstract
This is a two-year project. In this proposal, I give a detailed survey in the
related literature in the issues of contracts of health care insurance and the quality
competition between hospitals. I have built up an original prototype model to
analyze these issues in this proposal. Except for generalizing this prototype model, I
am respectively exploring the cases of the presence of a public insurer and a mixed
duopoly in the health care service market. Finally, I am discussing and studying the
issue of the quality competition between hospitals by using the prototype model, if
the project can be approved.
