本研究將可有效提升醫療器材抗菌能力,降低因為使用醫療器材產生感染所導致的醫療支出以及風險。同時因為製程簡易,將更能導入現有製程,開發出產品。學術上可以提升研究人員創新研發的訓練,並且藉由跨域合作的過程,深化醫療器材開發所需的能量。
