Abstract

本計畫將在不使用佐劑的條件下,讓出生2天的小鼠先給予過敏原OVA的暴露,並於8週大時以OVA 激發和加入PM2.5,模擬目前孩童在環境中空氣汙染嚴重時有高過敏疾病盛行率的情況,如此之模式更契合一般氣喘病患發病的狀態。接著我們將測試臍帶來源之間質幹細胞對於此模式小鼠是否可以改善各項氣喘病徵、降低T輔助細胞族群的分化與活性、還有調控肺部過氧化壓力與粒線體受損與修補的功能,相關分子機制也將於研究過程中被仔細檢驗。此研究之成果將為間質幹細胞的免疫調節功能提供重要根據,也作為間質幹細胞應用於開發氣喘或其他過敏性與肺部發炎疾病的潛在治療方法,將有利於改善人類健康、增進社會福祉。
