Abstract

本計畫探討開發節能、高光電轉換效率又環保、安全的垂直共振腔面射型雷射VCSEL光源,提升其在通訊、醫療、軍事、科學研究等應用技術。研究提升高功率雷射光源、可調整能帶波長、低閾值電流、高光電轉換效率斜率因子特性與其散熱封裝製程應用技術,以增加VCSEL元件的穩定性與壽命,並提升元件可靠度。VCSEL光源商業化的要求,亦即兼具高效率、低成本和穩定性,本計畫也將針對長期穩定性進行探討,改善光電轉換效率、散熱,以及VCSEL元件面對各種外部老化壓力來源的抵抗力。因此,本計畫將開發更適合的元件電極材料結構與封裝應用技術,來提升VCSEL雷射元件效率的穩定性,並建立其測試評估標準,將技術成果推廣至產業界。
