Abstract

此計畫將研究金黃色葡萄球菌的SaeRS雙分子調控系統在PrsA蛋白質摺疊酶缺乏所引起之分泌壓力情況下如何影響此菌的蛋白質分泌並進而影響其致病性。在學術發展上,將了解此重要致病菌的蛋白質分泌機制以及其致病機轉。由於分泌性蛋白質是決定金黃色葡萄球菌致病性的重要關鍵,因此本計畫結果將有助於開發抗菌藥物以及治療策略以降低因細菌感染引起的醫療成本負擔以及社會衝擊。
