本計畫以過去台灣砷毒性研究在國際學術社群受到重視的良好基礎上，進一步探討氧化壓力及多重無機元素對砷毒性相關疾病的交互作用與致病機轉，研究除了對砷毒性機制及疾病自然史研究帶來新視野外，同時帶來預防醫學潛在契機。
