Abstract

「國防航太」為目前國家發展五項策略性新興產業中的一環。衛星關鍵元件需要經過層層的測試及驗證篩才可執行太空任務，有鑒於此，粒子物理暨照射核心實驗室為國內唯一可提供高能質子照射的基礎實驗室，擁有國內自行研製之射束，可填補國內高能粒子研究的空白，作為粒子治療、質子輻射生物、太空輻射效應研發與服務之火車頭。除了支援院內醫學物理、放射治療與輻射生物研究之外、國內高科技廠家包括醫療電子、晶圓廠、國家太空中心皆有大量使用需求。
