Abstract

胞外囊泡為真核及原核細胞釋放蛋白質的機制之一。雖然細菌的胞外囊泡被認為在感染過程中扮演重要角色,但相較於真核細胞,目前對於細菌釋放胞外囊泡之機制所知較少,尤其在革蘭氏陽性細菌中更是如此。本計畫將以侵襲性化膿性鏈球菌作為研究標的,分析CovR/CovS二元調控系統影響胞外囊泡釋出效率之機制,並研究其所影響ExPortal微區域功能變化與胞外囊泡釋出及下游LiaF/LiaS/LiaR系統調控活性之相關性,預期可增加我們對革蘭氏陽性細菌胞外囊泡釋出機制之了解,並進一步提供這些微結構參與化膿性鏈球菌侵襲性感染的重要資訊。
