Project: National Science and Technology CouncilNational Science and Technology Council Academic Grants

Project Details

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the dispersion of floating solids in stirred tank and build up the model to predict the just suspensuon speed by using Computational Fluid Dynamics. In order to discuss the effects of impeller 9 type at different impellers and clearance (0.1 m, 0.15 m)will be used. In this research, we use the software Fluent 6.3 then adopted realizable k-ε and Eulerian model to simulate the solid-liquid system. Furthermore, using the flow number to verify the hydrodynamic model,.
