Abstract
Biodegradable amphiphilic block copolymers have widely biomedical application. In order to enhance the biocompatible and link the bioactive molecule in the copolymer, the functional groups must be attached onto polymeric backbone. In this proposal, we will synthesis the new AB and BAB type amphiphilic copolymers via ring-opening polymerization (ROP) and click reaction. At the same time, we will characterize the physicochemical micellar properties of copolymer and evaluate the possibility can be used in the biotechnology. The proposal will be progress during two years. In the first year, we will study the synthesis of AB type MPEG-b-(PN3CL-G) 26 and PEOZ-b-(PN3CL-G) block/graft copolymers. In the second year, we will synthesize the BAB type (G-PN3CL)-b-PEG-b-(PN3CL-G) 29 and (G-PN3CL)-b-PCL-b-(PN3CL-G) 32 triblock/graft copolymers.
