Abstract

Based on findings in the past year, the further compatible traditional and digital assessment tools (orthographic inspector of Chinese character) and interventions will be developed in the first year of this sub-project. One of the characteristics of our assessment tools is that the character frequency, word frequency, stroke number, orthographic-phonological regularity will be controlled well. This well controlled design can prevent the confounding effect while assessing writing performance. In this first year, the new assessments and interventions will also be given to some clients for validating their compatibilities. In the second year, the systematic experimental research including single subject design and group design will be used to substantiate the effect of different interventions. Different from the sub-project 1, this sub-project will focus on assessing and managing the issue of orthography, phonology and semantic while sub-project 1 engaging in visual and motor aspects. Besides, the clients in this sub-project will use the instrument developed by each of other sub-project. Therefore, this sub-project will connect with each of other sub-projects.
