Abstract

砷暴露除了地下水外,人類環境中來源廣泛,包含:飲食、生活應用、半導體等,過去本研究團隊及台灣學者共同努力下,對世界飲用水含砷標準下降產生實質影響,而本研究團隊過去發現人類無機砷代謝能力為砷毒害之關鍵要素,開啟了砷癌研究作用機轉的主流方向;然而,多重無機元素的共同暴露可能會對無機砷代謝及其健康效應造成影響,亦為未來預防醫學及砷毒害機轉研究之重要參考,有待探討。另外,許多動物實驗發現砷暴露可能對神經及免疫系統產生影響,甚至對下世代兒童之健康危害有長遠影響。藉由本計畫,我們預期的新發現將對人類健康、健保負擔及學術發展帶來重要貢獻。
