Abstract

此研究將了解台灣膠質瘤病人群中APOBEC3家族基因表現及其與膠質瘤臨床因子表現和病人存活之關聯性的，並首次揭露台灣膠質瘤人群中APOBEC3遺傳性缺失多型性的分佈，並討論了APOBEC3AB基因型對台灣膠質瘤風險和患者生存率的臨床意義。在這項研究中，我們將利用亞洲人特有高於歐美人群中具有A3B- allele頻率的獨特性，探討APOBEC3基因家族在神經膠質瘤的功能和臨床意義，描述APOBEC3基因家族影響神經膠質瘤的發病機理，並嘗試尋找導致神經膠質瘤進程的未知機制。借助這項研究的發現，我們希望開發出預測神經膠質瘤風險的方法並改善當前的治療方法。
