Abstract

In order to preserve the precious historical data of Taiwan electrical domestic appliance industry's development from fast disappearing, this plan manages to investigate the history of electrical domestic appliance industry of Taiwan, and then survey the historical data and relic. By means of collecting, researching and representing those relevant relics, this study would make all circles understand to the industrial development course of Taiwan to some extent, and get brilliant inspirations, so as to arouse the motive power of Taiwan industry. Besides, there is close relation between the industry of the electrical domestic appliances and people's everyday lives. The development and use of the electrical domestic appliances also reflected the changes of the economic condition, income and ideals and so on. The result of this study is a social history of Taiwan more than a industry's development history of electrical domestic appliances. Not only to preserve the industrial relics, the purpose of this study is to retrospect the modernization history of Taiwan society after World War Ⅱ.
