Abstract

空腸彎曲桿菌所製造的細胞致死腫脹毒素是一種基因毒素與導致宿主胃腸炎密切相關。我們最近的研究發現此基因毒素會誘導ferroptosis，這是一種新型的調節性細胞死亡(regulated cell death)。透過細胞及動物實驗模式，我們深入探討細菌基因毒素的致病機制，未來將有助於開發治療細菌毒素致病的新方法。
