Abstract

此研究的重要課題“腎小管間質細胞纖維化”,是引發慢性腎衰竭重要的機制。研究中,將從細胞基質物理性質的變化來探討其於腎小管間質細胞纖維化的影響。在學術上,提供一個新穎的觀點,也提供更深一層的機制探討。而將此一機制作為藥物篩檢平台,望能夠找到適當的藥物,抑制或減緩腎臟衰竭的發生,此一方面則將對減少社會成本的付出與經濟壓力,提升國民健康生活品質有更實質的幫助。
