本研究提出標定β2-AR治療結惡性直腸癌的機制及可能淺力。因為β1/2-ARs訊息的阻斷劑用於治療結直腸癌將提供許多臨床及基礎研究益處。如β1/2-ARs訊息阻斷劑已在治療高血壓領域應用許久,價格便宜且副作用低。β2-AR訊息阻斷將能提供臨床額外的治療選項,但不會對病人經濟或醫療經費照成負擔,用於治療癌症是值得探討的主題。
