Abstract

全球正處於病毒大流行之中，這恐怕是21世紀開始以來最大的公共衛生危機。了解病毒與宿主的交互作用，對我們未來戰勝新興病毒，佔重要角色。藉本計畫，我們將明瞭RNA病毒如何改變宿主細胞的脂類代謝，以及這種代謝重組背後的分子機制和意義。這對病毒學的基礎知識累積—尤其是病毒所引發之宿主反應部分—有所貢獻。同時，期盼能鑑別出嶄新分子標的，提供抗病毒藥物開發之用。本研究成果與技術可望應用於研究其它病毒上。
