本計畫主要探討工業設計教師在面對教學環境、課程內容與學生特質改變時所遭遇的問題和挑戰，以及教師面對這些問題的態度與因應策略。此研究結果可以提高對於目前大學工業設計教學場的問題，並找尋因應的作法。研究的資料與結果可以提供設計教育參考，作為教學規劃與執行的參考，以提升教學/學習品質，培育符合未來需求的設計人才。相關資料與結果亦可以做為設計教育相關研究的參考。
