Abstract

In the age of knowledge economy, the value of an organization has shifted from actual land, factories, equipments and other tangible assets to ‘knowledge’ as the main intangible asset: the Intellectual Capital (IC). IC refers to the total sum of knowledge, technology, relationship and mechanism that could increase the competitiveness and market value of an organization. There’s a lot of studies about intellectual capital in organizational and national level, but does any one know what employees’ intellectual capital means? How manager evaluate applicants potential which may contribute to organizational future value? The primary purpose of this study was to construct the contents and indicators of individual intellectual capital.
