Abstract

A use of a herbal extract for the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting infection of sars-cov-2 in a subject is provided, wherein the herbal extract comprises a crude alcohol extract of the herbal of Menispermaceae, wherein the herbal of Menispermaceae is Stephania cepharantha or Stephania tetrandra.
