Abstract
A lower limb muscle spasm assessment and treatment system comprises a set of pressure sensors, an angle sensor, a covering body, a control circuit, and a computer. In which, the handle of the covering body is used to pull forward and backward the tested lower limb, so the set of pressure sensors may detect the value of the continuous resistance variation of the tested lower limb, and the angle sensor may detect the value of the continuous angle variation of the tested lower limb. The computer is used to statistically analyze these values, so as to statistically analyze the quantified data sheet for the viscosity of muscle spasm and display on the screen of the computer. The present invention may also perform the functional electrical stimulation (FES) on the tested lower limb to reduce the spasm level. Thus, the clinical staff may observe the spasm variation before and after treatment through the display on the screen, so as to perform the quantitative assessment and treatment of muscle spasm.
