Abstract

The present invention provides a system for guiding focused ultrasound energy release using a surgical navigation system and a method thereof, which are used to guide a focused energy onto a target point. The system comprises a focused ultrasound device, a surgical navigation system, and a holding fixture. The surgical navigation system may complete a calibration procedure according to the image of the portion to be processed on an object, the focus of the focused ultrasound device, and the tracking point provided by the surgical navigation system, and establish a positional relation between the focus and the image of the portion to be processed, such that the surgical navigation system may recognize the focus and guide the focused energy onto the target point.
