Abstract
A method for detecting recurrence and high stage of bladder carcinoma provides a sensitive, quantitative, rapid, and specific analysis for detecting cancer cells in a tissue for predicting and monitoring the recurrence of bladder carcinoma and conversion into a high stage bladder carcinoma. The invented method comprises: using a high performance of nucleophosmin/B23 mRNA as a useful prognostic marker for detection of recurrence and high stage of bladder carcinoma. The invented method provides a prognostic marker for effectively predicting the recurrence and high stage bladder carcinoma so that cancer can be more easily and effectively treated.
