Abstract
The present invention relates to a wave combiner having equalized optical power and optical power (current) compensation function for laser diode. The wave combiner has several filters and mirrors, tilted panels, laser diodes, and photo detectors. Each laser diode can emit laser light with different wavelengths, which passes through each tilted panel and the first lens to become a parallel light respectively, then the light passes through each filter, and is reflected by the mirror and reflective interface onto the second lens. By the condensing of the second lens, the signal is sent to the optical fiber. Part of the light in the laser diode is reflected onto the photo detector at the nearby position, so that the photo detector can monitor the magnitude of the optical power output of laser diode, thereby it has a better compensation function of optical power (current) to equalize the optical power.
