Abstract
A method for monitoring illumination quantity, which comprises: when a processing unit receives a sensing data generated by an illumination quantity sensing unit and indicates the illumination quantity, the processing unit stores the sensing data in a storage unit; when the processing unit determines that the current time fits one of a plurality of predetermined time points, the processing unit calculates a cumulative illumination quantity , the cumulative illumination quantity corresponds to the sum of the illumination quantity indicated by the stored sensing data within a time range of one of the predetermined time points; when the processing unit determines that the cumulative illumination quantity does not fall within the predetermined range of illumination quantity, the processing unit outputs, via a prompting unit, a prompt output indicating that the cumulative illumination quantity does not fall within the predetermined range of illumination quantity.
