Abstract

A light auxiliary biosensor is disclosed and is made from light-addressable potentiometric sensors (LAPS). The biosensor, comprising a semiconductor substrate and a sensing layer, is provided to examine the specific ion or biomass concentration of solution to be examined. Meanwhile, a light-emitting unit is directly made on the back surface of the semiconductor substrate and directly irradiates with light on the semiconductor substrate to improve the photoelectric conduction quality of the semiconductor substrate. Furthermore, the hysteresis phenomenon can be suppressed and the high sensitivity can be obtained. The invention can greatly reduce the production cost through the integration feature and is easy to carry and execute a real-time detection to achieve wide ranges of detection and application.
