Abstract
The invention relates to an LED with photocatalyst. The LED has a package shield where photocatalyst is spread on the surface. The photocatalyst has strong oxidization ability and is stable and safe. Owing to the small size of LED, it is possible to install a plurality of LED to approach the same Watts as a fluorescent lamp. Therefore, the whole area of the LEDs is larger than that of the fluorescent lamp, such that the air contact area is larger to make LED have better function of disinfection, deodorization, and mold prevention.
