Abstract
The present invention relates to an AC drive multi-LED structure with substrate having surge protection, which includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that contain a first set of LEDs and a second set of LEDs, in which both sets of LEDs are connected in parallel, the first set of LEDs are serially connected in a first specific direction, and the second set of LEDs are serially connected in an opposite direction; a driving circuit is electrically connected with the first and the second LEDs; and an AC power source electrically is connected with two terminals of the first and the second sets of LEDs through the driving circuit. The plural LEDs all pertain to a LED flip chip structure formed with a substrate with surge protection, and the driving circuit is located on the substrate with surge protection, wherein the surge protection component is used to prevent the plural LEDs from being subject to surge such as electrostatic discharge and the like.
