Abstract

The invention provides a method of using dynamic light patterns combined with optically-induced dielectrophoresis (ODEP) to screen, separate and purify rare cells. The method comprises: first of all, removing the cells not to be tested from a sample so as to obtain remaining cells serving as a substance to be screened; then using an optically-induced dielectrophoresis chip to combine the substance to be screened with movable and rotatable light patterns; and screening, separating and purifying the remaining cells to obtain the rare cells. As a result, it is able to improve the separation rate, the collection rate and the accuracy of the rare cells.
