Abstract
Disclosed herein is the use of glutamine for the preparation of a nutrient supplement or a medicament for treatment of a subject having sexual dysfunction and/or alleviating symptoms associated with sexual dysfunction. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the sexual dysfunction is resulted from the impairment of glutamate-glutamine cycle. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the subject can be a male subject or a female subject.
