Disclosed is a walking assistance device arranged at a shoe body to provide a user with a suggestion of stepping position during walking. The walking assistance device includes: a gait detector, a control circuit, and a projection module. The gait detector is arranged at the shoe body to detect the pressure of the shoe body on the ground. The control circuit is arranged at the shoe body and electrically connected with the gait detector, so as to determine a gait state of the shoe body according to the pressure change of the gaiter detector and a predetermined algorithm and output a control signal according to the gait state. The projection module is arranged at the shoe body and electrically connected with the control circuit. According to the control signal, the projection module is driven to output a stepping guide in front of the shoe body.
