Abstract

This invention provides a phosphor powder coating equipment and its method capable of real-time detecting white light color temperature during the process. In this invention, the phosphor powders coating equipment capable of real-time detecting white light color temperature during the process includes a spraying region which is arranged with a movable nozzle and a to-be-sprayed LED assembly, a measuring region which is arranged with a light source and a light detector, and a monitoring piece which moves between the spraying region and the measuring region. The monitoring piece and the to-be-sprayed LED assembly undergo at least one phosphor powder spraying process at the spraying region to form at least a phosphor powder layer. At the measuring region, a light source is used to excite the phosphor powder layer on the monitoring piece and the white light color temperature measurement is carried out by the light detector in order to rapidly detect the color temperature state of the coated phosphor powder layer to improve the yield rate of phosphor powder layer reaching the predetermined color temperature.
