Abstract
A wearable broadband fabric patch antenna includes a substrate, a radiating member, and a grounding member. The radiating member is thermally bonded to the top surface of the substrate. The radiating member is provided with a quadrangular patch. The patch has a signal feeding end on one side, and the signal feeding end has an opening. The signal feeding end is provided with an extension column at the center of the opening. One end of the extension column extends toward an edge of the substrate. The grounding member is thermally bonded to the bottom surface of the substrate. The grounding member is carved with the slot hole of a complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR) to form three C-type rings. The complementary split-ring resonator slot hole structure increases the resonance frequency points, so that the newly added resonance frequency is close to the resonance frequency of the patch, thereby increasing (broadening) the bandwidth for transmitting and receiving signals.
